Be An Important Part of the Academy Family!

The Parents, Friends and Alumni Association (PFAA) aims to: 

  • Provide an environment that will foster the development of a closer relationship between home and school for the educational benefit of the students
  • Enhance communication among the GHAA community
  • Raise awareness of GHAA activities
  • Enhance visibility of students’ art
  • Raise funds to finance its programs and activities

In What Ways Can I Help?

  • Helping to sell concessions at shows
  • Baking for concessions sales
  • Assisting with planning fundraising events and activities
  • Ushering at performances

Parents/guardians of GHAA students or alumni (full day and half day), as well as students, alumni, teachers and the staff of GHAA are welcome to join our meetings.

Together we can contribute to the school spirit at The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts!


Meeting Times

The PFAA meets at a minimum of 8 times a year between September and June. Meetings take part at 6:00 pm in Room 117 in the Learning Corridor Main Theater Building.
