Shortly after acquiring a mysterious plant, Seymour discovers just how unusual it is. As the plant grows, Seymour realizes that this plant is actually a blood thirsty monster. However, he hesitates to kill it, for not only has this plant brought him fame, but it has given him the one thing he truly desired Audrey, the love of his life. Seymour struggles to make a tough choice… before it’s too late.

Parents and alumni may participate in a very active Parents, Friends, and Alumni Association.  PFAA members work together to enhance the visibility of the Arts Academy and to plan special events that generate revenue for the school, and to support the efforts of parents of artistically gifted students. Students Perform Original Music Before Hamilton Crowd
Hamilton, the Broadway sensation, has come to Hartford and the Academy had a chance to take in the show and do a little performing themselves. In front of packed audience, students Justin Williams and Amareon Blackman performed together an original piece . The opportunity came by in September when The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, a non profit that supports K-12 history education, asked for proposals from area schools on history projects centering on U.S. colonial times.

Tre Frasier
Actor Brings 'Hamilton Fever' To His Former School In Hartford (WNPR Story)
Courtesy of WNPR Hamilton – the box office smash hit – is in Hartford and one of the actors appearing in the show was actually a student at the Greater Hartford Academy Of The Arts. Connecticut actor Tre Frazier has returned to pay back his former school with a Hamilton “master class.” Frazier, who saw his very first musical on the Bushnell stage, has been spending his time working to find his groove as he rehearses for his debut.

A 'Hamilton' homecoming for CREC Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts graduate (Hartford Courant Story)
Courtesy of the Hartford Courant Tre Frazier knew all eyes were on him and it wasn’t because he was looking at a wall of mirrors in the dance classroom at CREC Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts. Frazier, a cast member of the traveling play “Hamilton,” could feel the starry eyes upon him because he once stared at that mirrored wall as a student who dreamed of dancing on Broadway.
